“An Inconvenient Truth” is a fact-filled show about global warming and solutions for it. It was 
presented by former Vice President of the United States Al Gore in the year 2006. The movie is filled with information that Al Gore collected as he traveled to different parts of the world in order to educate the public about the consequences of this climate crisis. This idea came to him after the death of his sister and the bad experience of his son who was almost killed in a car accident.
According to Al Gore who backs up his view with fact, greenhouse gases must be reduced sharply in the near future. If not, the whole world might face worse consequences. For example, his examination of Antarctica's yearly temperature and amount of carbon dioxide in the last 650000 years showed that it is possible for a major ice sheet in Greenland to melt. If that happen, the sea level would increase by about 6 meters causing flooded cities. That in turn would result in more than 80 million refugees. Plus salinity, which is the amount of salt per cubic meter plays a major role in changing the climate.Water around Greenland has lower salinity than European water. If mixed together, the overall temperature of Europe would change.
However, Gore suggested some good solutions. One is to plant more vegetation through which
we can reduce the carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere. Second is to co-operate with all countries to solve this problem. Each country should solve minor problem related to it.
To sum up, Al Gore believe that all countries must co-operate to solve this issue because it is not one country’s problem. It is everybody’s problem because all of us live on this planet. We should take action in no time if we wanted to protect our loved ones.
